What Is a Riftmark
A born-digital mark with permanent law.
A RIFTMARK is officially generated once inside the Registry and permanently defined by its sigil, its motion, its sound, its immutable laws, and its evolving public history.
Every Mark carries a unique designation, a living sigil, a motion signature, a tonal signature, three immutable Core Laws, one hidden Appetite, a public archive record, and a bloodline and scar ledger.
No two Marks are culturally identical, because a Mark is not just what it looks like. It is what it is allowed to do, what it refuses to do, and what it has survived.
Mark Anatomy
Twelve identity components.
Designation
A unique, generated name bound at genesis. Examples: VAELDRIFT-17, KORA/NULL, IX-HOLLOW.
Class
Common, Rare, Severe, Sovereign, Black Archive, or Founder Singular. Determined at birth.
Sigil Form
A procedurally generated visual mark unique to each RIFTMARK. The visual signature of origin.
Core Laws
Three immutable rules governing fusion, duels, dormancy, bloodlines, scars, and registry behavior.
Hidden Appetite
A secret predation or attraction vector. Partially or fully hidden until revealed by events.
Origin Serial
A permanent, sequential identifier. RM-0000001 through infinity. Early serials carry inherent prestige.
Motion Signature
Drift, pulse, recoil, fracture, stillness, inversion, flicker, or bloom-collapse.
Tone Signature
A sonic identity. Glass hum, bass void, split metallic inhale, ceremonial chime decay.
Scar Ledger & Lineage
Permanent historical marks from events, duels, fusions. Ancestors and descendants tracked forever.

What am I buying?
You are purchasing a Key that authorizes the official birth of a RIFTMARK. You are buying a digital original — a collectible registry entry, a law-bound artifact with permanent provenance. You are not buying a financial instrument or investment.
Can a RIFTMARK be duplicated?
The visual form can be screenshotted. But the official registry entry, serial provenance, law architecture, scar history, bloodline graph, and social legitimacy cannot be copied. The value is in the system, not the surface.
What are Core Laws?
Three immutable rules sealed at genesis. They govern how a Mark may fuse, duel, enter dormancy, create bloodlines, accumulate scars, and interact with the Registry. No two law combinations produce the same strategic identity.
What is the Founders Genesis?
The first 1,111 RIFTMARK births. Founder-born Marks carry early serial ranking, permanent Founder Scar eligibility, and first-era designation in the archive. Once all 1,111 are born, the Founders Genesis closes permanently.
Is this an NFT or cryptocurrency?
No. RIFTMARK is a web-native digital collectible with a proprietary registry system. There is no blockchain, no token, no cryptocurrency. Provenance is maintained through the official Registry, not a distributed ledger.
What is Registry Value?
Every RIFTMARK carries an official Registry Value — a structured assessment based on class, law rarity, serial position, scars, bloodline, and history. This is not a financial promise. It is a living historical valuation that reflects record, survival, rarity, and significance within the ecosystem.
What is the Exchange?
The Exchange is a secondary chamber within the RIFTMARK ecosystem where owners may list Marks for sale. It operates as an archival marketplace where provenance, history, and Registry Value are publicly visible. The Exchange is not the core experience — it is a natural extension of attachment and rarity.
